We also license Flash-IP solutions that are incorporated in a broad range of products.Job DescriptionYou will lead the team responsible for supporting the transition from product design to on-going production for our Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and semiconductor products. This includes global PCBA subcontractor selection and relationship management, directing product shipments, establishing and maintaining overall quality systems and supervision of technicians. It also includes jumping in where necessary to ensure equipment and facilities are meeting the needs of the organization.Production Control and Planning:* Lead product production and planning* Manage current and new vendor relationships* Manage current and new subcontractor relationships* Manage finished goods and components inventory* Ensure customer orders are tested and shipped per requirements and specifications* Implement and monitor automation of Product Testing* Perform BOM to Schematic reviews* Oversee and perform shipping and receiving* Support export compliances (AES, ITN, etc.)* Maintain and organize production control filesQuality Assurance:* Maintain and implement Standard Operating Procedures* Develop Operations Quality Manual* Maintain familiarity with Process Certifications (ISO, IEC, MIL, AERO, etc.)* Support site audit for ESD/Handling, customer audits, agency audits* Direct lab equipment certifications and calibrationsProduct Sustainability:* Ensure reliability testing post product qualification* Ensure environment compliance (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, etc.)Operations and Special Projects:* Support facility operations (shipping / receiving / office supplies / warehouse organization)* Oversee process safety projects* Oversee High Power safety projects* Provide local IT support* Maintain facility requirements* Investigate and implement “new to the company” special projectsJob RequirementsLevel of education: College degree or equivalent preferred, certifications in production management, planning, quality assurance a plusType of degree: BA or BS with focus on production management, planning, quality a plusYears of experience: 5 – 6.5 years of experienceRequired skills: Strong leadership and oral and written communication skills. Strong planning skills. Experience with sophisticated ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle). Experience in all areas of quality assurance and planning. Ability to work in higher voltage environment safely. Ability to pick up a soldering iron when necessary.Industry experience: Experience in production management and planning to printed circuit board assemblies produced both domestically and abroad.
