Primary responsibilitiesThe Shift Supervisor is responsible for the performance of hourly production employees in the areas of safety, quality, production and implementation of company policies.

Responsible for all aspects of shift operations including Safety, Quality, Company Policies and Production Responsible for assisting, directing, and training team to work in a safe manner to set-up and operate equipment to produce a product that meets the customer requirements Responsible for reporting all issues of concern according to the company policy and company Ethic procedures and handling discipline problems per department and company policyEnforce all plant safety rules and plant policies.

Perform Safety audits and process audits to ensure strict adherence Maintain accurate/detailed log book entries of production activities within the shift.

Responsible for employee time keeping, attendance records, overtime lists and reconcile production reports.

Ensure successful communication between shifts and during shifts of all hourly workers and all management.

Ability to work from schedules, tables charts, general instructions and other data to meet the customer requirements Ability to problem solve while following Quality, Department and Company policies SkillsStrong written and oral communication skills.Ability to develop a strong working relationship with individuals across the organization.Minimum Requirements:High School Education1+ years of supervisory experience in a Manufacturing SettingComputer skills (Microsoft, SAP)Lean Manufacturing experienceExperience in union atmosphere Schedule requirements:12 hour shiftsRotating shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am)Working weekends Working some holidays Working 2,2,3 schedule (work Monday Tuesday, off Wed.
