Senior Manager, Dynamics® CRM Product Strategy

The Microsoft Dynamics Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool is recognized as a key strategic technology used across the sales and service functions within our Institutional Investor Group (IIG). We are seeking a motivated strategic business technology leader to help craft and own the development of the strategic vision and product roadmap. Microsoft Dynamics is a unique tool requiring the team to be highly collaborative and demonstrate expertise across process, technical, and data domains. This role, spans across IIG providing an outstanding vantage point from which to grow as a leader, drive business change, and advance and automate business processes.

In this role, you will:

• Support the development of the IIG CRM strategic vision and product roadmap.
• Guide your team from early stages of strategic capability development through final delivery.
• Partner with the sub-division leaders to implement process changes and ensure system training is delivered, as needed.
• Build and own relationships with critical partners and colleagues throughout Vanguard to enable success.
• Represent the team’s work and outcomes to senior partners across the business.
• Hire, evaluate, and supervise a team. Provides guidance and training as needed to manage a team. Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Lead cross-divisional program or multiple workstreams within a larger program. Drive all phases of the CRM lifecycle from inception through implementation while ensuring that business objectives are delivered with high quality and within targeted timeframes.
• Create and maintain a multi-year program strategy that clearly identifies specific actions and tasks needed to achieve future state goals. Provide written and verbal communication to many different audiences within Vanguard on the status of the program.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships across sites, departments, divisions, and internal and external partners to support their program initiatives. Develop strong relationships with program leadership, sponsors, and workstream leads.
• Ensure all steps are taken to mitigate risk, and retain control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements. Integrate and handle organisational change efforts across the overall program. Closely run program costs and budget and call out cost variances appropriately and timely.

What it takes:

• Minimum of eight years related business experience, with at least four years of project management experience.
• Previous people-leadership experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
