Job Description

The Senior Director HR Strategic Analytics leader owns the development and maintenance of the HR analytics program that provides ongoing insight into the effectiveness and efficiency of HR’s operational performance and HR’s performance in supporting total workforce, talent and people-related business outcomes.

Leader will partner with the EVP, CHRO, and HRLT in creating and managing HR’s Analytics strategy and roadmap.

This role partners with internal HR leaders and stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of business objectives and provide data-driven insights to guide strategy the business to achieve those objectives.

Set the HR Analytics strategy and roadmap and ensure successful implementation of these.

Ensure that the HR an a lytics’ team insights are translated into a clear narrative.

Situate the Team as a strategic partner that can provide data-driven insights to guide strategy.


  • Partner with the CHRO to create an HR analytics strategy.

    Coordinates with the HRLT to ensure HR function and sub-functional key performance indicators are identified (and tracked) for critical HR operations, service agreements, project activities, HR business initiatives and workforce-driven outcomes.

  • Works closely with the HR Technology team for any support needed to ensure that metrics, and reports are created and maintained to measure HR’s performance against prioritized KPIs.
  • Provide data-driven, analytical insights to the HRLT to support effective decision making and the achievement of strategic objectives.

    Design, develop and provide regular, executive level reports for use in HRLT meetings on KPIs and workforce analytics.

    Support benchmarking data exercises for HR to identify opportunities for improvement .

  • Working closely with the HR Technology team and the HR Data Governance Board, identify data gaps and needs in order to be able to provide insights to the HRLT and business leaders.
  • In close coordination with the Head of HR Technology , develop the HR analytics technology strategy and as needed, create a business case
    – inclusive of business risk evaluations, ROI, timelines
    – to support any new solution.
  • Always ensure that HR analytics solutions are consistent with the HR Technology roadmap, strategy and operating principles.
  • Work closely with HR leaders and business leaders to help them analyze the data and leverage analytics to find areas of improvements.
  • Create dashboards by leveraging various data visualization tools and technologies to enable story telling around current state but also to identify trends and predictive analytics.


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Master’s degree in human resources and/or Management Information Systems related field preferred


5-7 years of experience in a Lead People Analytics role

5 or more years working within a global, matrix organization

5 or more years working extensively with KPIs, metrics, executive reporting

Proven experience in leading a team, being a manager of people

Proven experience working within highly collaborative teams

Experience in generating dashboards providing insights regarding trends and gaps

Credible leader able to influence senior leaders without direct authority

Track record of transformational process leadership

Travel Requirements

Ability/willingness to travel to other company sites within the global CSL group
