About The Role
We partner with insurance clients in managing enterprise-wide or functional transformations to support growth, operational and financial improvement and event-driven change across all insurance sectors. Our services and activities include, but are not limited to, organizational performance diagnostics, enterprise and business process reengineering, cost and expense rationalization, designing and implementing target operating models, lean and operational efficiency, and pre- and post- merger support.
Our Global Insurance Solutions (GIS) team is seeking a Senior Director with strong technical insurance capabilities, business transformation and performance improvement experience and overall leadership skills in providing like services to our insurance clients.
What You’ll Do

• Supervise and perform day-to-day activities of projects including interaction with client personnel, including senior management, and other professionals involved in performance improvement consulting engagements;
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team in managing complex business transformation and performance improvement engagements ensuring such engagements are on budget and on-time;
• Effectively communicate transformation recommendations and insights to clients;
• Provide quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex business structures;
• Lead the team through design, testing, deployment and implementation of business transformation activities to meet client objectives and requirements;
• Ensure successful delivery of engagement scope and requirements;
• Perform operational reviews, data and financial analysis and assist clients with developing and implementing performance and process improvement solutions;
• Organize information to facilitate effective data access and analysis;
• Create recommendations and identify operational improvements for insurance clients;
• Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties and develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Ability to successfully delegate tasks and responsibilities while influencing team members to take positive action and accountability for their work;
• Assist in new business development for the Business Transformation & Performance Improvement unit in particular and GIS overall;
• Prepare draft written analyses and other reports for third parties, as necessary, on the project scope and/or results of activities.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent project management capabilities
• Organized with a strong business acumen
• Ability to identify areas for operational or financial improvement
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of insurance company operations
• 7- 10 years of Big 4 or large consulting firm experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
• Ability to travel 10% – 25%
• This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices
