We are looking for members to add to our team who will grow with us as we elevate to the next levelPosition Summary: Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Dock Supervisor is responsible for planning, managing, and controlling all available resources to ensure timely, damage-free loading/unloading of freight on the outbound or inbound shift.

The Warehouse Supervisor will promote teamwork, collaboration, quality/production standards, professionalism, and integrity to ensure that departmental results are delivered in accordance with A Business Enterprises Core Values.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Communicate and monitor workflow in support of managing loading/unloading of freightSupplying dock/yard check to dispatchConduct pre-shift meetings for driver workforceConduct daily review of the freight load sheet for accuracy regarding loading/unloading of freight for deliveryHandles general employee inquiries and solve problemsStandardize and organize sortation lanes by route (striping, signage, etc.)Maintain a high level of serviceability and cleanliness of the cross-dock as needed.Communicate with Retail Manager and supervisors of shift activitiesPrepare and submit daily reports on shift operationParticipate in the weekly management meetingsPerform other duties as assignedWeekend shifts occasionally occur at a moment’s notice based on customer needsReviewing key operating indicators and metrics Provide daily production report to Operations ManagerManage, evaluate, engage team drivers assigned All Daily Payroll functionsJob Requirements3 years of experience working in cross-docking operations or fulfillment operations.Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve problems at the source.Strong verbal & written communication skills.Strong computer literacy skills, including usage of Google Sheets/Excel.Ability to adapt in a rapid growth, startup environment.Ability to work in a high paced environmentAbility to build a teamMust be able to work with and train a diverse group of people in the overall scope of the job and vision of the company.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:Ability to work collaboratively at all levels of the organizationProven ability to positively coach, train, and mentorProcess-oriented with a quality mindsetExcellent customer service skillsExcellent interpersonal skills respectful and responsive.Ability to work under pressureCreative problem solvingMust be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgroundsPossesses the ability to use the computer system for departmental functions.Business acumen/fiscally responsiblePossess the ability to learn and adapt to change quickly in a fast-paced liquidation business where no two days are the same.The candidate must be able to work independently without direction or direct supervision.GENERAL WORK ENVIRONMENTFrequent: Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending for extended periods of time.

Frequent: Climate: Ability to withstand exposure to atmospheric extremes including heat, cold, humidity, and barometric pressure changes.Occasional: Lifting up to 50lb, raising and lowering objects under 35 lbs from one level to anotherOccasional: Reaching below shoulders: Extending arms in any direction below shoulders.Occasional: Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands.Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Vocal communications are required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and/or to communicate with customers and/or clients.

Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and in an environment with loud machinery.
