Business Technology Manager ( Site Reliability Center )

You will be assigned to one of the following shifts:3:00pm to 11:30 PM(second shift ) Monday
– Friday11:00 pm to 7:30 am (third shift ) Monday
– Friday7:00pm
– 8:00am (weekend night) Saturday, Sunday & Monday The Site Reliability Center (SRC) was established to bring strong alignment between development and operations to drive continual improvement in our operating environment.

The shift primary leader will have solid applications and infrastructure skillsets and drives continuous performance improvement, repeatability, and sustainability.

The SRC enables a 24×7 support model that integrates all infrastructure and application teams to:
• Identify and permanently resolve events through Event Management
• Identify and implement automation
• Improve stability post-release
• Drive efficiencies and performance
• Enable change and release management
• Facilitate capacity management
• Engineer reliability into the environmentAs an SRC Lead within PNC’s Enterprise Technology and Security Organization, you will be responsible for directing SRC shift activities, driving continuous performance improvement, and coordinating technology reliability efforts.

Candidate will need to work 2 weeks on other shifts each quarter for cross training and process improvements.

Shift coverage will be needed to support peer vacations as well.

Candidates must have working knowledge across technology support areas, examples are:
• Server: Administration and troubleshooting in Linux and Windows as well as patching and basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)
• Converged Solutions: Experience in VCE/UCP (including VMWare versions 6 and above), platform and network connectivity, and patching
– understanding of current threat analysis and remediation trends, alongside Powershell and Linux scripting skills
• Storage: CIFS/NFS, Linux and Windows scripting, DPA reporting, Avamar and Data Domain administration, and solid understanding of Windows and Linux environments
• Middleware: Linux, Windows, WebSphere, Apache, IIS, WebLogic and Tomcat
• Mainframes: JCL, CICS SYSPLEX
• Networking: Strong understanding of the network protocols and OSI Model, as well as Network+ Certification
• Workflow and Knowledge Management: ServiceNow
• Collaboration Tools: TrueSight, Jira, and Confluence

– $187,150Where a person is paid in the compensation range is aligned to their experience and skills.
