Our location in Alameda, CA currently has an opportunity for a Business Insights and Forecasting Manager.

The primary role of the Business Insights and Forecasting Manager is to support the business objectives of senior leadership and other business partners by developing forecasting models, data analysis, and actionable insights.

The BI&F Manager will take a leadership role in driving market planning activities in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to inform decision making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Forecasting: Leverage market knowledge, primary and secondary data, and KPIs to develop short-term and long-term forecasts, commercial opportunity assessments, and uncertainty analyses.

Collaborate with business partners to develop robust market model projections and scenarios.

Proactively provide recommendations to support market strategies and business investment decisions.

Strategic Insights and Data Analytics: Proactively structure data analysis around ambiguous problems and manage multiple projects.

Generate fact-based data insights and combine quantitative data analysis with qualitative market research insights to solve business problems and create business opportunities.

Ensure accuracy and proactive communication of analyses, strategic recommendations, and other deliverables.

Market and Competitive Insights: Identify market trends and growth drivers by utilizing both internal and external data sources.

Track competitor and market activities and define their impact on business performance.

Internal and Field Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholders to gain agreement on business objectives and the action plan to achieve them Process: Consistently implements all analytical protocols, procedures, and standards in a timely manner Teamwork and Collaboration: Contribute to the team’s performance, actively collaborate within and beyond the team to design and ensure buy-in around solutions Leadership: Support an environment of candor; takes accountability EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING Required BA or BS degree required 5 years analytical experience desired, preferably in the healthcare industry in a market science or business analytics role.

Experience using big data is required preferably with prescription, medical claims and/or longitudinal patient-level data Understanding of advance analytic techniques used in marking mix modeling, segmentation analysis, physician/patient targeting and predictive models Preferred MBA, Masters is preferred 3 years forecasting experience incl.
