– Civil and Environmental Engineering Position Type: Faculty Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: full-time/9-months Department: 202-Civil and Environmental Engineering Position Summary: Villanova University’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering ( CEE ) seeks applications for a full-time non-tenure track visiting faculty position in Environmental Engineering.

This is a one-semester appointment for the Spring Semester of 2022.

Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to co-teach an undergraduate environmental engineering science course and associated lab with a full-time faculty member, as well as teach a senior level elective course and a graduate course.

The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively in the classroom with existing faculty in a co-teaching capacity.

The candidate is also expected to maintain a presence on campus and be responsive to students as a full-time member of the faculty for the duration of the appointment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D.

    in Civil and Environmental Engineering or closely aligned discipline is required (must be completed at the time of hire). 

  • The applicant must demonstrate a dedication to teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D.

    in Civil and Environmental Engineering is preferred. 

  • Previous teaching experience is preferred.
