Sr. Analyst Business Integration


The IT Business Integration Analyst has a critical role in supporting IT Business Partners and Project Managers, in creating a key interface with the business users in their specified functional area within Global IT.

In a project and business advisory capacity, the Business Analyst gathers information, documents and develops processes, develops technical documentation (context diagram/class diagram/ERD), elicits both business and functional requirements, and confirms final documentation with the business stakeholders. They proactively share knowledge of technology, challenges and opportunities to assist the business in meeting strategy objectives, and aid in user acceptance testing, and in serving as a trusted advisor to their assigned business functions.

The Business Analyst also supports Global IT in business technology strategic development in solution discovery and risk management, through experience, learning and partner liaison, and in communicating relevant project information regarding business unit requests and projects as needed to the project management function.

To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.



  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and assisting in solution development proposals.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Understand business cases and objectives.
  • Performing requirements analysis and elicitation and documenting as required.
  • Developing technical documentation (context diagram/class diagram/ERD).
  • Assisting in project scope and boundary development, KPI development and monitoring performance.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations with cross regional teams, to share ideas and findings.
  • Effectively communicating results and status to cross-functional team members and management within both IT and assigned business functions.
  • Working closely with business users, IT business partners, project managers, solutioning teams, and managerial staff.
  • Maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Supporting business through administration activities on key business systems, as required.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Producing useful reporting and analytical analysis.
  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Training users where required and supporting process best practice.
  • Supporting change management.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements.



  • Bachelor’s Degree – IT systems, Business Management, or other related field or equivalent work experiences.  
  • 3+ years of IT and business/industry work experience, preferably in a Manufacturing organization.
  • Experience in Business analysis or a related field
  • Experience in developing context/process flow diagrams
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience developing business cases, building ROI
  • Experience leading and supporting top performing teams
  • A history of managing and supporting successful projects
  • Experience creating details reports and giving presentations



  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales & Service
  • SAP ECC – Sales Distribution experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI & the Power Platform.
  • Previous knowledge/experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including OneNote, Teams, SharePoint would be advantageous



  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Knowledge of IT including varying systems, reports & capabilities and evolving technologies and best practices
  • Strong business acumen
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, from planning to delivery
  • Effective written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including communicating across regions
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong at Networking with business partners and colleagues
  • Ability to teach in effective training sessions maintaining user engagement.
  • Highly Motivated & dedicated
  • Advocate/representative of IT
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.



  • Some overtime or adjusted hours required
  • Limited travel required
