ELRC Administrative Coordinator

Community Services for Children is Seeking a Self-motivated team member for a rewarding career as the ELRC Administrative Coordinator. The position provides supportive, administrative and coordination services for all activities involving the Vice President of the Early Learning Resource Center. The position is responsible for coordination of meetings and communications, managing data/record keeping systems, organizing calendar of activities, events, and related supports for activities across five ELRC regions. Work Environment:
Community Services for Children requires all staff members provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment. We want to create the safest workplace possible and protect children and families. This is also necessary in order to comply with President Biden’s mandated vaccination guidance for all Head Start/Early Head Start programs. Candidates who are selected for this position will have to meet the COVID-19 vaccination condition of employment.

A $1,000 monetary incentive will be paid to newly employed Community Services for Children staff members who start work after June 1, 2021. The payout will be paid upon successful completion of probation.
Community Services for Children is offering a onetime $75 COVID-19 vaccination incentive for newly hired staff members who are able to show proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. The payout will be paid upon successful completion of probation.

Job Description:
  • Organize daily activities of the VP of ELRC including calendar, maintaining contact lists, electronic and hard copy records, and coordination of schedules both internal and external.
  • Assist VP in preparing materials and reports for Early Learning Committee and CSC Board meetings.
  • Develop annual operations calendar for ELRC, coordinating with Regional Directors and Finance Department and including all OCDEL deadlines and requirements.
  • Manage the ELRC Resource and Referral Database, including access for ELRC staff, maintaining up to date resource information, and troubleshooting
  • Schedule ELRC all-staff and Director meetings, coordinate all related logistics support including: room reservations, environment set up, providing supplies and refreshments, technology assistance, creating reports, tracking attendance and taking minutes, and maintaining all records.
  • Supports the ELRC in submission of grant applications or correspondence utilizing electronic submission systems as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience assisting middle to upper management.
  • Associate’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Expertise in all computer management systems such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and database management.  Ability to learn new systems as needed.
  • Organizational/data management, recording and reporting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Daily use of a vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
