Completed applications must be turned in to the Borough Office during normal business hoursby 4:00 pm on June 9th, 2023.Candidates must meet the following requirements:- Be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.- Possess a high school diploma or a graduate equivalency diploma (GED).- Be a United States citizen- Be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer.- Possess a valid motor vehicle operators license and be eligible to legally operate a motor vehicle in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.- Be Pennsylvania Act 120 certified or have successfully completed training and passed or be able to pass the final Mpoetc Act 120 exam prior to employment.- We offer a comprehensive benefits and compensation package as per the collective bargaining agreement.A physical agility test as well as a written examination will be administered.-Applicants will be notified of the date and time of testing.A non-refundable application fee of $25.00 is due upon pickup of application in the form of a check, cash or money order.The Borough of Springdale is an EOE.recblid jvxk6bdvsqeumpvbh8k7m0swmh56ts
