Nursing Assistant

This is a Full-time position in Meadville, PA posted February 16, 2021.
Assists the Professional Nurse and the Practical Nurse with the daily routine and functions of the Nursing Units by the completion of both indirect and direct patient care activities.
Provides patient care under direction of the Licensed Practical Nurse and the Charge Nurse.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Completion of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program and/or currently on the Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.
Good communication skills.
Ability to interact with patients, families, and others often during stressful situations.
Ability to independently make frequent rounds, lift patients, position patients, transport patients, provide treatment and maintain patient safety and comfort.
Must be able to respond to an emergency situation, i.e.
codes and /or combative patients.
