CRM Development Chapter Lead

Job Description:Are you interested in formal leadership but want to continue to stay technical and develop code?

The Development Chapter Lead role may be for you.

The DCL role was created as a new “player-coach” position.

DCLs write code as a member of a team and also lead other developers in the same product family.

This allows for senior developers to gain leadership and technical experience in the same position.

* This is an exciting new role allowing a mix of leadership and coding on product team.

The time split is approximately; 60% developer, 40% chapter lead.

* Create a chapter culture that empowers crew to be strong contributors on autonomous Agile teams * Establish and implement a chapter vision, strategy and goals/OKRs.

* You will coach and grow your chapter members while staying technical as part of the developer side of the role.

Develop crew to build technical expertise through focused and relevant coaching Scope of work: * Provides technical expertise, direction, and leadership to the technical team for a project.

Ensure all components of the technical architecture are properly integrated and implemented * Leads team in the building of CRM solutions that meets requirements.

* Define the CRM development tools and environment.

* Responsible for end-to-end technical assurance, technical governance, technical best practices, the reuse of technical assets, and the assignment of technical work.

Responsible for technical direction of the project * Mentors and coaches CRM developers and team members * Day-to-day management of the technical teams, working closely with the Program/Project Managers to provide information around scheduling, risks, issues, changes, etc.

* Participates in daily leadership calls, stand-ups, can outline performance of technical team * Ensure technical issues are resolved in a cost effective, efficient, and timely manner * Participate in Work Product Reviews as referenced in the Project Quality Plan * Will support new pursuits and business and asked to validate estimates Qualifications * Knowledge of CRM application capabilities and COTS implementations * MSD CRM 2011 * Expertise with MSD CRM development and its integrations/add-ons * .NET Development * Portal Development * Web Services * Visual Studio or Team Foundation Server * Experience with an automated requirements management tool * Experience with HP ALM suite is a plus About Vanguard We are Vanguard.
