Appeal and Education Coordinator

This is a Full-time position in Reading, PA posted July 17, 2021.

Responsibilities The Appeal and Education Coordinator serves as an integral member of the Revenue Integrity Team.

The Appeal and Education Coordinator will prepare appeal documentation on patient accounts as they advance in the appeal process with payers.

This will include the second appeal, dispute, arbitration, and/or litigation processes as defined by the payer contracts and Legal Services.

The Appeal and Education Coordinator will ensure the accuracy of the documents submitted during the second appeal, dispute, arbitration, and/or litigation processes and that final denial determinations are received on outstanding patient accounts.

*Position is remote but requires 4-8 weeks of training on site.

Staff meetings conducted on site.
