Senior Software Engineer

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a senior level position responsible for all aspects of the product development lifecycle from design to delivery. You will work closely with the Bayer product managers, infrastructure, and development teams to deliver world-class solutions to Bayer customers.

You will design and develop high-quality code exhibiting excellent performance that meets product requirements with a strong focus on scalability, maintainability, and security. Key focus of this position is to design and develop mobile applications in a Software as a Medical Device environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science /Software Engineering or related discipline;
• 4 or more years of experience delivering commercial products to customers;
• Fulfills requirement defined by others;
• Excellent Communications skills;
• Excellent Collaboration skills;
• Excellent Customer Focus skills;
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
• Must have experience in some of the following: iPhone/IOS mobile development, Node.js, Backbone.js, Angular, React, Amazon Web Services, Docker, NoSQL / MongoDB, Express, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Qt;
• Linux Operating Systems;
• Apple IOS;
• Object Oriented design and development;
• Developing new features and revamping others for web applications and API’s.

Preferred Requirements:

• Programming Languages (Swift, Flutter/Dart, C#, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python);
• Familiar with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code;
• PostgreSQL database;
• MongoDB;
• Familiar with Git and Jira technologies.
