Learn more at www.harmonicinc.com. Role Description We are looking for and experienced PHY engineer to lead Docsis4.0 PHY system integrations at tier1 customers in the USA. You will report to PHY group manager, HW, Broadband business unit Location On-site – This position will be based in Philadelphia or Denver. What you will be doing: Working with the customer on the next Generations PHY and identify gaps for developments. Working with the customer and the chip manufacotres engineering on Docsis4.0 PHY integrations and improvements of the solution. Docsis4.0 PHY include FDX and FDD. Working closely with tier1 customer on initial FDX deployments PHY feature developments like FDX node power reduction by usage of DPD technology Leading requirements and integrations from PHY perspective of FDX telemetry and control algorithms. What you should have: Sc. in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or equivalent Experience in Docsis specifically DocsisPHY Experience in RF measurements and analysis Experienced with lab equipment Experienced with SW and SW/HW system integrations Experienced with algorithms development Experience in customer-facing – advantage Pay & Benefits For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $140,000 – $ 150,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market, location and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
