This is a Full-time position in Beaver Falls, PA posted February 23, 2021.

A leading competitor in steel tube manufacturing, PTC Alliance is seeking a Recruiter/HR Coordinator for its facility in Beaver Falls, PA OR Alliance, OH. This position is primarily responsible for coordination of recruiting functions for all plant locations and provides support to HR team.

Coordinates recruiting and sourcing of candidates for all positions in the company. Coordinates Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job postings, college / university campus relations, and staffing firm / contract coordination.

Coordinates Company recruiting process:

Develop streamlined recruiting activity

Implement and maintain strong communication between managers and candidates

Communicate with Human Resources team on responsibilities in the process

Develops and maintains relationships with vendors for staffing contracts when needed.

Reviews and maintains in-depth knowledge of what Managers are looking for in their vacant positions and working with outside recruiting firms when necessary.

Reviews and advises changes to offer letters.

Must be proficient in multiple online recruiting sources.

Coordinates and participates in the interviewing, hiring and placement of hourly and salaried employees as needed.

Develops sources of qualified applicants, conducts screening interviews, checks references and background, evaluates applicant qualifications, and arranges for initial orientation of newly hired employees.

Write and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers, and universities boards.

Stays up-to-date with current recruiting methods.

Source candidates by using databases and social media.

Keeps records and prepares statistical reports concerning recruitment, interviews, and hires.

Analyzes statistical reports and other data using knowledge of job requirements, valid selection processes, and legislation concerning equal employment practices, in order to identify and determine causes of problems or inefficiencies in the employment function.

Make recommendations to management for improvement of organization’s employment policies, procedures, and practices.

Participates and provides data for recruiting as needed.

Attend job fairs and careers events.

Maintain Social Media sites.

Assist HR team with maintaining employee records, assist with payroll processing and ad hoc HR projects.

Provide administrative support to HR team and all employees.

Performs other duties as assigned.

This position will report to the HR Manager and assist in the administrative functions of the Human Resources department.

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field.

Excellent communications skills and ability to work in a team environment a must.

Three to five years in recruiting and human resources administration required.

Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment with union and non-union experience is a plus.

Must be computer literate with capability in email, Microsoft Office suite and related company business and communication tools.

Strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of ADP, E-Time and Microsoft Office is preferred.

The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
