Job Description
A healthcare facility in Pennsylvania is seeking a certified Medical Dosimetrist to join its radiation oncology team.
Basic Duties
- Consult with the physician on patient treatment.
- Assist and advise during the patient simulation process.
- Assist and advise during the patient treatment.
- Views different imaging modalities (CT, MRI, PET)
- Identifies the position of critical organs surrounding the lesion and determines areas and the amount of radiation received
- Understands the concept of Dose Volume Histogram.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- MDCB (Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board) certification
- Pinnacle Mosaiq experience
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a medical dosimetrist
