The mission of the EDO is “Empowering the business of AmeriHealth by delivering trusted solutions through complete data services, delivered globally to be consumed locally.”Responsibilities:Business System Analyst Senior – Data Quality is a senior role within the CDO Data Quality Management organization that is responsible for data quality assurance from various data sources to ensure data integrity and information usability for internal decision making.

This role will supports the data quality program through interaction with various business data owners, application owners, and decision makers to support the data quality issue management practices.

This role requires a skilled and motivated professional who can work with business units and IT teams to understand information need, document strategic and operational needs, execute data quality framework capability gaps, support data quality tooling, etc.

Mentor junior team members.Work with analytics and data engineering teams to identify and drive data quality standard methodologies and consistency that align analytics priorities to a data quality strategy and roadmap.Ensures the appropriate timely triage, review, and escalation of issues.Interface and provides day-to-day quality and change agent support to the functional areas.Support functional areas in the assessment of potential root causes and remediation (corrective actions and preventative actions) and effectiveness checks.Establish reusable tools and best practices for Data Quality Issue Management and Resolution, tracking and escalation.Hands-on interaction with stakeholders to create clear & concise Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Data Flows, and/or other SDLC/Agile deliverables according to ACFC standards.Interface with business clients, PMO, technical staff, architects, vendors, data governance and others with minimal supervision to achieve project goals and initiatives.Evaluate system performance and design, as well as its effect on data quality.Report data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.Keep abreast of developments and trends in data quality and issue management resolution processes.Discover, organize, and clarify business needs and review/produce specifications for the issue management and resolution.Document data quality issue management and resolution processes including workflow diagrams, user stories, and use cases.Partner with Information systems and Operations to ensure accuracy of data collection and identify areas of improvement in data management.Perform root cause analysis on data issues and recommend data quality controls to resolve gaps/issue.Demonstrate superior customer focus always.

Build consensus among stakeholders as it relates to large-scale business problems and issues.Work effectively both as a member of a team and independently; establish good judgmentregarding routine, significant, and sensitive matters or those issues for which direct response is inappropriate and promptly apprise Manager.Professionally lead productive meetings, deliver professional oral or written presentations.Education/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related studies; or equivalent related project experience.At least five (5) + years of Business and Functional requirement gathering, Data Operations, Data Governance, Data Quality, Issue Management and Resolution, Data Management in a healthcare, life sciences, or other high-volume transaction process environment (shared services organization preferred)Expert knowledge of Data Management Principles and Data Quality ImprovementExperience with MS Office products, including Visio and MS ProjectDemonstrable experience supporting development of a vision through execution and day to day leadership of a dynamic, client-focused organizationDeep understanding of data systems (e.G., industry platforms, data tools, portals, workflow, automation), digital savvy, and experienced in surfacing technological/digital solutions to solve business issuesProven experience in building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal clients to understand their business needsExcellent knowledge of data quality issue management resolution processKnowledge of business risk, solid understanding of robust operating procedures and controlsKnowledge of data governance and quality tools such as Informatica EDC, Axon, IDQ, etc.Knowledge of cloud technology Azure, AWS, etc.Healthcare experience is plus; HL7 and CMS Interoperability knowledge is plusBack ShareApply Now
