Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems.

Supply electrical support required to keep all departments running at a high level of efficiency, striving for 100% efficiency.

Responsibilities: Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirementsFollow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standardsFollow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gaugesPerform analog and digital circuit design by utilizing microprocessor hardware and software configurationsUse Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) including basic and ladder logic to read/write basic wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints in order to diagnosis problemsDraw electrical schematicsUnderstand precedence relationships (e.g.

sequence of events)Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.

Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipmentDiagnose and repair complex machine and electrical and electronic problems including non-routine electrical issues such as power qualityAssemble component electrical parts per specifications and bench testing before installationRead and thoroughly understand electrical schematics and apply that understanding to real time systemsUpdate schematic drawings to incorporate changes in equipment as neededPlan layout of wiring and install conduit, wiring and ancillary electrical equipmentInstall power supply wiring and conduit and troubleshoot issues as they ariseCompletes root cause analysis and recommends solutionsParticipate in small process improvement teamsTrain other electriciansUse SAP for Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Work Order ProcessMONLI-RG1 Qualifications: Five (5) years of experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable experience with trade school or trainingHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to read/write wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints and analytical diagnosis of problemsAbility to program Programmable Logic Controllers using basic and ladder logicThorough understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC)Advanced knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges Advanced knowledge of industrial controls and instrumentationAdvanced mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceMath skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and algebraFamiliar with and ability to convert decimals to fractions or vice versaFamiliar with and ability to convert units (imperial to SI, etc.)Must have an understanding of microprocessor hardware and software configurations and be able to perform basic analog and digital circuit designPrior experience using software for Preventive Maintenance (PM) and work orders, SAP preferredKnow how to use Multi-meter, scope, basic hand tools, and portable power toolsAbility to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (PIT) licenseDemonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issuesAssociates Degree in Electronics Technology, preferredApprenticeship training or equivalent electrical trade school, preferredPrior PIT experience, preferredConstant exposure to extreme heat, loud noise, dirt, dust, odors, and fumes Ability to sit, stand/walk, bend at waist, squat at knees, crawl/kneel, climb stairs, reach from torso, reach over shoulders, grasp, push/pull, carry, lift/lower, work in heat and temperature changes, work in an environment exposed to chemicals and dustUtilize visual acuity occasionally to frequently.Have sufficient color acuity Ability to frequently lift 10 to 25 pounds Ability to occasionally lift 25 to 50 poundsFrequently ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, and other power equipmentRequired to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in required areas May be required to work additional hours including weekends, holidays, and/or overtimeLI-RG1
