Job DescriptionThe Relationship Sales Manager is responsible for the day to day growth of customer relationships within the Bank’s Customer Service Center. This individual will manage their team’s efforts in building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers through proactive sales efforts with the attainment of all Sales Related Goals being the primary driver.Qualifications:* Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a sales focused team (hiring, terminations, corrective actions, praise, recognition, motivation etc.). Will consider High School Diploma/GED with 7 years’ experience managing a sales focused team.* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management capacity in a call center environment is preferred.* Knowledge of Bank processes and services is preferred.* Math aptitude with the analytical ability to evaluate statistics and create reporting.* Positive, committed, self-driven, and outgoing.* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Microsoft 365 preferred.Principle Activities and Duties:* This manager’s key responsibilities include creating and retaining a proactive, competitive, sales driven team. Will work with the Call Center Manager to hire, coach, recognize team members with praise and constructive criticism, and hold team members accountable for attainment of daily and monthly sales goals. Sales goals include but are not limited to: consumer loans including upsell and loan maximization, deposit growth, new checking and savings account, and CD renewals.* Create ongoing contests and various forms of recognition in order to build competitiveness and teamwork within the department.* Ensure the consistent and effective solicitation of the Bank’s customers via both inbound and outbound telemarketing calls.* Work with the Call Center Manager to manage the Sales Supervisors to ensure they are providing the necessary leadership and support to the department.* Ensure that weekly meetings are held with the Sales Management team to discuss achievement of sales goals, ideas for improving the team’s effectiveness, and to discuss topics for ongoing sales training workshops.* Actively participate in bi-monthly Supervisors meetings including the sharing of ideas in order to improve our customers’ experience when dealing with the Call Center.* Communicate all important changes including new Bank promotions, sales specials, and deposit and loan rate changes to the Sales Team.* Work closely with the Call Center Training Coordinator to ensure that all new hires are on track with their performance during their training period.* Write performance reviews and providing ongoing encouragement and support as well as handling disciplinary action when warranted.* Participate in and review all Action Plans (taped reviews) to ensure employees are meeting Monitoring expectations.* Create monthly schedules and ensure timecards are completed and approved in a timely manner.
