Community College of Philadelphia is seeking to fill an Office Administrative Associate B position. The Office Administrative Associate is responsible for the general administrative support of the College’s Learning Lab department. This position serves as the primary point of contact for students and visitors of the Learning Lab. This position demonstrates excellent customer service in responding to general questions and inquiries related to Learning Lab services and collaborates with a variety of campus offices.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent (GED) required.

  • Six (6) years of clerical and administrative experience in a fast-paced, professional and customer-oriented environment required.

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and professionalism with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. students, faculty and staff) in person and via telephone and internet required.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required.

  • Ability to extract and prepare data for reporting required.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities required.

  • Detail-oriented and strong attention to detail required.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks with changing priorities required.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills required.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.

  • Ability to maintain sensitivity, understanding and respect for a diverse academic environment inclusive of college faculty, staff and students of varying social economic, cultural, ideological and ethnic backgrounds required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous clerical and administrative experience in higher education is preferred.

  • Previous experience with Banner preferred.
