Sr. Director Treasury – Job Description

The Sr. Director Treasury will be an accomplished financial professional, who will be responsible for the driving global treasury operations of Boomi. Treasury oversees and coordinates with its legal entities to manage its global banking structure. The successful candidate will support the CFO by developing and executing the Treasury strategy of the Company while ensuring efficient cash operations. In addition, the Sr. Director Treasury will have responsibility for daily cash operations, debt management, and the risk management/hedging program of the company.

The Sr. Director Treasury will report to the CFO while having exposure to FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Private Equity Sponsor Principals & Analysts, and the company’s lenders and banking partners.

You will:

  • Supervise the management of bank account operations and related Treasury technology
  • Manage the relationship with banking partners critical for funding and banking operations
  • Support daily treasury cash operations globally (cash positioning and bank payments)
  • Keep bank and other required documentation up to date and ensure compliance with SOX and other internal controls
  • Establish treasury related data analytics, dashboards, etc. to support strategic decision making
  • Be part of Treasury Ops global and projects/initiatives as a key leader

The Sr. Director Treasury will report to the CFO while having exposure to FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Private Equity Sponsor Principals & Analysts, and the company’s lenders and banking partners.

Essential Functions

Direct responsibility for US cash positioning and oversight of global cash management activities, including managing daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation, bank reporting, bank platform administration, letters of credit management and optimize banking architecture, bank fee structure and cash management processes

  • Collaborate with IT to establish and maintain treasury technology solutions, including possible interfaces, to support cash management activities including develop appropriate reporting and modeling capabilities required to support short-term and long-term liquidity forecasting needs.
  • Lead debt management responsibilities and monitor covenant compliance, and prepare related calculations and certificates, in accordance with debt agreements.
  • Analyze financial exposures and lead hedging programs to mitigate risk from currency and interest rate fluctuations.

Required

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Global Treasury Operations and Financial Management with a track record of continued professional development and adoption of increased responsibilities
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage, develop and motivate direct reports and team members to produce quality results in an efficient manner and simultaneously manage several projects; possess at least two years of management responsibility
  • Collaborative business partner and advisor, adept in building cross-functional relationships to drive business results Experience in the developing and executing efficient liquidity, hedging, and interfacing extensively with the Tax and Accounting functions
  • General understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to apply GAAP to new and existing transactions

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, and either MBA in Finance/Accounting and/or CPA CTP and/or CFA certification preferred Experience working for Private Equity-backed companies Experience working with treasury technology/ERP solutions
