Assistant Controller

Founded in 1986, PrimePay is a leading national human capital management (HCM) technology and services provider to businesses ranging from 1 – 5,000 employees.  PrimePay delivers highly configurable cloud-based software and services enabling clients to hire and retain great talent, manage and pay their workforce, and optimize their business in an everchanging compliance landscape.

The company has been independent and private since inception and recently executed a sale transaction to Aquiline Capital Partners in April 2021.

Combined with the company’s leadership team, the company will be aggressively growing via M&A and organically seeking to scale to +$200mm in the next 3-5 years. 

We are currently searching for a talented individual to fill the role of Assistant Controller at PrimePay’s corporate headquarters based in West Chester, PA.  In this position, you will work closely with the Corporate Controller and CFO to assist with the production of financial reporting, data analysis, and accounts payable functions at PrimePay. 

 The Assistant Controller will be responsible for various functions within the accounting department, including, but not limited to:
Financial reporting Data analysis Accounts Payable process Fixed asset management Inventory analysis Facility and equipment leases analysis Budgeting Trust account reconciliations Various special projects
Requirements:
Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains accounting and Report Writer experience Proficient knowledge of GAAP Public accounting experience (desired, but not required) Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with analyzing data from multiple sources Accounts Payable experience BA/BS degree in accounting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Efficient and effective multi-tasking Strong attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information professionally Ability to work independently and as a team
