This is a Contract position in Philadelphia, PA posted September 1, 2021.

Balmoral Advisors is an independent, specialty investment bank dedicated to providing mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and financial restructuring advisory services involving mid-sized transactions.

We are a smaller firm (10-15 people, with strategic partner firms in 20 countries) but are active and have strong deal flow.

Our analyst program is a rewarding experience for young professionals, who work side-by-side with highly experienced senior bankers as an integral part of the team.

Responsibilities are generally divided between transaction execution and business development/firm building.

Typical analyst work includes the following: Help develop proposals to clients and potential clients, develop client presentations and deal marketing materials Gather and analyze financial, business and industry information Perform valuation analysis and build financial spreadsheet models Develop lists of potential buyers, investors and acquisition targets Research and summarizing industry outlooks Assist senior bankers with day-to-day responsibilities What We Offer Relative to larger investment banks we offer the following: Strong culture of collegiality and commitment to excellence.

Requirements 6-12 months of work experience in investment banking, or non-I bank experience that has crossover to investment banking.

Demonstrated academic success in relevant field of study (finance, accounting, economics, etc.).

Strong research, financial modeling, analytical, accounting and valuation skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, verbal and written communication, and teamwork.

Strong attention to detail and exceptional work ethic, time
– and process management skills.

Willingness and to work significant overtime, nights and weekends when necessary.

Willing and able to travel Fluent in conversational and written English.
